College Planning and Financial Aid

College Planning for juniors, seniors, and their parents

All junior and senior students and their parents are encouraged to attend College Planning and Financial Aid Information sessions on March 1, 2018. The meeting will take place in the high school auditorium. 

A representative, Mr. Steve Irvin, from the Iowa College Access Network (ICAN) will be at the Corning High School to visit with ALL students and parents about the college process. Students and parents are strongly encouraged to attend the event. This professional representative has information that is crucial to the college planning process.

Mr. Steve Irvin will also highlight the procedure for filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) that determines all financial aid in colleges. Students and parents can begin filling out the FAFSA after October 1, 2017. You will want to complete the application as soon as possible after the opening date.

WHY:  Because planning is important!!!!
